Immerse yourself in the wine culture by visiting the wineries of the Wine Route of Rioja Oriental, an initiative that integrates family-run wineries and more industrial, vineyards, restaurants, museums and accommodations to provide an experience for wine lovers complete and authentic. With more than 24.590 hectares of vineyards within the Denomination of Origin Rioja, this region combines tradition and technology to produce wines with its own identity, a reflection of the terroir and character of its peoples as Arnedo, Aldeanueva de Ebro Alfaro, Nickel or Autol.

Each winery has its history, heritage, and secrets to discover: you can explore the ships where they breed the wines, to observe the evolution of the wine of the grape to the bottling, and I tasted it while you tell nuances that reveal their origin and upbringing. The experience is complete with the local cuisine: coliflor de Calahorra, pears Rincón de Soto, mushroom of Lawn, cheese camerano, oil DOP. To live Rioja Oriental from all of your senses don’t miss out any of its activities linked to the nature and heritage: deposits celtiberians, neighborhoods of cellars carved into the rock, hot springs, castles, hiking trails and so much more.

Each visit allows you to learn the artisan process of the cultivation of the vine, fermentation, aging in oak barrels and the distribution of the wine, all surrounded by a landscape archaeological and natural protected as a Biosphere Reserve. The balance between ancestral and modern techniques gives as a result the wines are very well maintained and full of personality. The wineries open their doors to share in this journey from the field to the glass, in a hospitality environment that reflects the identity and pride of the territory of la rioja.
