The Interpretation Centre, Casa Santa is a tribute to the Holy Martyrs Emeterio and Celedonio, who, like many christians under the rule of the emperor Diocletian, were persecuted and martyred for their faith. Beheaded near the river Cidacos, Emeterio and Celedonio went from roman legionaries to become Patrons of the city,. Its history, immortalized by the poet calagurritano Aurelio Prudencio Clemente, is recalled in this modern interpretation centre.
Located in the old town of Calahorra, la Casa Santa it stands on the site of the old chapel of the Holy Martyrs. Opened between 2010 and 2011, this modern building combines architectural elements, innovative, as its roof and doors made of steel Cortén, which give it a unique design and distinctive.
