Calahorra will promote cauliflower and other products from its vegetable gardens with a new video at the Vegetable Museum.

  • The Local Governing Board approves several contract awards

The Local Governing Board approved the following agreements at its ordinary meeting, held yesterday, Monday:

Contract Awarding

The Board awarded the contract for services related to the design, creation, editing, pre-production, production, post-production, and delivery of a promotional audiovisual product to promote and encourage the production of Calahorra cauliflower, as well as other local produce from the Calahorra region, to businessman José López Santa Cruz for the price of €8,927.01.

The new video will be shown at the Vegetable Museum.

This initiative falls under the Tourism Sustainability Plan for the destination ‘Calahorra Wine and Gastronomy’ within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (PRTR), financed by the European Union – Next Generation EU.

The Board also agreed to award the contract for printing, photocopying, and digitization services for Calahorra City Council documents to the company Equipos Mecanizados S.L. for the amount of 139,664 euros and a parking space located in Plaza de los Ángeles for the price of 8,927.01 euros.

 

Contract Tender

The council has also approved the tender file for the supply, rental, and installation of tents and wooden/canvas booths for various events organized by the municipal departments of Culture, Festivals, Youth, Social Services, Commerce, and Tourism, with a base tender price of €110,061.60.

The contract is divided into two lots. The first lot includes tents for the Vegetable Gastronomy Festival, Intercultural Days, KalagurriRock, the Brass Band Festival, the Halloween Party, the Confectionery Fair, and the patron saint festivities in March. The second lot comprises smaller tents for Promostock, the Confectionery Fair, and the Christmas Market.

Price is the sole award criterion and the tender documents for special administrative clauses and technical specifications can be examined on the contracting profile of the Calahorra City Council (www.calahorra.es) and on the Public Sector Procurement Platform (http://contrataciondelestado.es).

 

Agreement to Promote Skiing

The Council has approved the agreement with the Caja Rioja Foundation, in collaboration with the Government of La Rioja, for the development of the “Ski Initiation and Improvement Program for Young People.”

This activity is aimed at 1st and 2nd year ESO (secondary school) students from schools in Calahorra, and the municipal contribution is €3,500.

List of Invoices

The Council has approved invoices number 59, 58, 57, and 1, totaling €265,461.72.
