Walk 2 (La Estanca)

A 13.79 km route with 115 m of elevation gain and 115 m of elevation loss, designed as a moderate-difficulty walk at a leisurely pace. The estimated time is 3 hours 8 minutes, combining sections along the river, wooded areas and spots offering fine views of the Calahorra countryside.

The route passes through notable points such as Cidacos Park, the Perdiguero reservoir, Monte de los Agudos and several natural viewpoints overlooking Calahorra.

Flora
Characteristic vegetation of the area: poplars, tamarisk, willows, Aleppo pines and crops such as vineyards, almond trees and fruit trees.

Fauna
Common birds of the riverine environment: kingfisher, white stork, osprey, ducks, coots, mallards, grebes, owls and thrushes.
In the river: tench, eel, barbel and crayfish.
Mammals present: wild boar, rabbits and roe deer.
