Route 4 (Yasa Marujaina)

A 28.53 km route with 332 m of elevation gain and 292 m of elevation loss, designed as a medium-difficulty walk that combines river sections, wooded areas and natural viewpoints. The estimated time is 1 hour 42 minutes, with a varied route that is highly representative of the Calahorra area.

The route passes through notable sites such as Cidacos Park, the Perdiguero reservoir, Monte de los Agudos and several vantage points offering views of Calahorra, the Cidacos and Ebro valleys and the mountain ranges of La Rioja Baja.

Flora
Characteristic vegetation of the area: poplars, tamarisk, willows, Aleppo pines and crops such as vines, almond trees, olive trees and fruit trees.

Fauna
Common birds of the riverine and agricultural environment: kingfisher, white stork, osprey, ducks, coots, mallards, grebes, owls and thrushes.
In the river: tench, eel, barbel and crayfish.
Mammals present: wild boar, rabbits and roe deer.
