Days of the Cazuelilla
The Days of the Cazuelilla are one of the major reference food of Calahorra. Each year, coinciding with the bridge of All Saints, the city became a meeting point for lovers of traditional cuisine and flavours, presented in a format that is very special: the cazuelilla of mud.
For several days, the bars and restaurants of Calahorra offer a wide variety of stews served in cazuelillas, to sample both the local self as to carry. The proposal includes from classic dishes of the cuisine of la rioja and calagurritana —like potatoes to the region, calluses, crumbs from the pastor, chickpeas with cod or snails— up recipes more innovative, that reinterpret the tradition with a creative touch and amazing.
